The NUUO NP-8160 Solo Pro is a stand-alone NVR that uses a Linux embedded operating system and comes with 16 IP camera licenses, which is upgradeable to 32 total channels. This model comes standard with a 1 Terabyte HDD and is capable of holding up to 80 Terabytes with 8 - 3.5" HDD Bays, 10 TB maximum per bay.
The NUUO NVR Solo can output directly to a monitor using the HDMI and VGA connection ports. It supports IP decoding of up to 30 frames per second in 1920 x 1080 (1080P) resolution for 16 channels and up to 15 frames per second in 1920 x 1080 (1080P) resolution with 32 channels. It is also capable of recording in 4K/8 Megapixel resolution at 7.5 frames per second per channel with 16 channels and 3.75 frames per second per channel with 32 channels. The maximum resolution per channel is 8 Megapixel and the NVR can record in the H.265, H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG video compressions.
This NVR is remotely viewable from iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows computers. The NP-8160 supports up to 64 channels of remote connections per unit. Over 70 brands of IP cameras are supported including PTZ and Vivotek Fisheye Cameras.
The NP-8160 can be used with external POS (Point of Sales) devices for retail business applications. An E-Sata port allows for the use of an external HDD to increase storage.
