The Geovision GV-Relay V2 is used to integrate Geovision surveillance systems with burglar alarm and home automation devices. It enables Geovision IP cameras, DVRs, IO USB boxes, and GV-Net cards to integrate with devices that require more power than than what the triggering device is capable of. For example, a Geovision IP camera may only output 3-5 volts from its digital output port, but the installer wants to trigger a light that required a 12 volt circuit to be grounded out. The GV-Relay allows the lower powered device to trigger the higher powered one.
