Geovision GV-PAD

The Geovision GV-PAD is an IP camera decoder and flat panel LCD monitor capable of displaying video from up to 64 IP cameras. The Geovision GV-PAD connects to the LAN network using an Ethernet cable or wirelessly using the optional WiFi USB adapter and displays IP camera video streams on the 13" monitor (342.8 × 220.3 × 38.3 mm / 13.5 x 8.7 x 1.5 exact dimensions). The GV-PAD is a stand-alone device with a 1280 x 800 display and features many of the options from the Geovision GV-IP Decoder Box. With the included remote control, users are able to monitor channels, pause at specific channels and even take snapshots of occurring events. For Geovision and many third-party IP PTZ cameras, the Geovision GV-Joystick can be connected to control PT, PTZ and Speed Dome camera functions. The GV-PAD is capable of decoding H.264 streams at the maximum frame rate of the IP device and supports up to 5 Megapixel IP cameras. An SD Card and USB slot can be used for snapshot storage as well as firmware updates.

Supported Camera List

The Geovision GV-PAD is compatible with most Geovision IP devices using the H.264 codec, GV-SD200 using H.264 codec through ONVIF and third-party IP devices that support H.264 and comply with RTSP, ONVIF or PSIA. The chart below displays all of the compatible Geovision IP devices.

To decode and display non-H.264 IP channels or analog channels, connect the devices to a GV-System and access them through GV-Mobile Server. The supported devices are listed below.
