The Viewtron VT-SD8 is an 8 channel security DVR for traditional CCTV cameras (not HD-SDI) and is Mac compatible for remote live viewing and recorded video playback. The Viewtron SD series digital video recorders support all of the same software as the Viewtron HD and hybrid recorders. The user interface is the same and have the same mobile DVR viewer apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android.

Viewtron DVRs support remote viewing and playback from Mac and Windows PC using all major web browsers, including IE, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Users can also control the pan tilt zoom controls of PTZ cameras. The experience is the same from both Windows and Mac computers.
