The Geovision GV-IP LPR 20R is a megapixel IP LPR camera (license plate recognition camera) that features a video resolution of
1280 x 1024 at a full 30 frames per second and has a 1/3” B/W progressive scan CMOS image sensor. The Geovision GV-IP LPR 20R has an external Infrared Illuminator with an effective IR range of up to 22 meters / 72 feet.
The camera is specifically designed to
capture reflective license plates on vehicles traveling at speeds of up to 120KmH / 75 MPH. This camera is able to automatically adjust it's shutter speed based on the environment to ensure clear license plate capture. The GV-IP LPR 20R is solely powered by POE 802.3at using the included POE Adapter, allowing both data and power to be over one Cat-5e cable.
A
5 ~ 50mm lens gives the user a wide range of viewing angles for the specific application. The
IP67 and IK10 rated enclosure
enable the camera to withstand harsh weather conditions, temperatures
ranging from
-40°F to 122°F, acts of vandalism and direct object impact.
This camera comes with everything needed for license plate capture such as the
GV-IP LPR Camera Software CD, GV-NVR Software DVD and the GV-ASManager Software DVD. This camera supports viewing from iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile devices.
Please note: This Geovision LPR camera will not capture license plates that have a white base with red lettering.
