The Geovision GV-Compact is a mobile DVR solution (digital video recorder). The GV-Compact is 4 channel system with an embedded Linux operating system that supports MPEG-4 compression and superior network functions. This mobile DVR captures video at up to 120 fps with 2 CIF (half D1) resolution and allows individual channel adjustment settings for video resolution, video quality and video frame rate. The GV-Compact was designed with user-friendly web and on-screen-display controls so that the system can be set up quickly and easily.
When connected to the GV-CMS series, the mobile system is available with perfect remote central monitoring and various other control features. When connected to a UMTS/3.5 modem, the GV-Compact DVR becomes a perfect mobile solution with GPS and real time video tracking. The GV-Compact DVR uses the world famous GeoVision surveillance system software in providing a total mobile surveillance solution.
