Description
 
The Geovision GV-FE420 is a 360 IP camera capable of capturing a video image of 2048 X 1944 (4 megapixel) resolution at 15 frames per second.  This network 360 IP camera has a 1/2.5" progressive scan CMOS image sensor.  The GV-FE420 uses a 360 degree fisheye lens allowing you to monitor every angle of a room. It also provides virtual PTZ and auto pan functionality without any mechanically moving parts. The GV-FE420 360 IP camera can provide dual video streams selectable from H.264 and MPEG4 video encoding types.  It is also 802.3af PoE (Power over Ethernet) compliant so that a POE switch or POE injector can be used to supply power to the camera.  Both power and video signal are supplied over a single cat5e network cable.

Remote Viewing Support

Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet.  Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs.  Geovision also includes support to view cameras from mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones.  Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices.  Some remote viewing methods require use of the NVR software that is included with the camera and some methods can connect directly to the camera and do not require a PC.  Click here for more information on Geovision remote access options.
