Video Transcript

Zavio IP cameras support remote viewing and configuration from an Apple iPad using the Safari web browser. This video will demonstrate this using a Zavio F3106 model camera.

First I launch the Safari web browser on the iPad.

Next I enter the IP address of the camera I want to access.

I am prompt by the camera for a login and password.

Once logged in, I can see the live video stream of the camera.

I am going to just move the picture around and make it larger and smaller to demonstrate the interaction users can have as well as to show the quality of the picture.

Note that when you are moving the picture or adjusting the size, the video freezes until you stop adjusting.

Users also have full access to adjust manage the camera setting using the menu on the left hand side of the page.

I will click around in the menu a little here just to show you some of the configuration options.

I switch back to live view now.

Also on the left, you can adjust the size of the image to full, 1/2, and 1/4 resolutions.

The F3106 is a 1.3 megapixel camera so the full resolution is quite large, giving the user the ability to see a lot of detail.

One megapixel resolution is about 4x the resolution of a 600 TV line CCTV camera.
