Description

The PSPRO-12vdc1amp is an individual DC power supply used by many of the CCTV and IP cameras that we supply This 12V DC power supply is fully regulated and provides 12V DC 1 amp of power. The input power required is 100-240VAC 50/60Hz. This camera uses a 2.1mm plug which is compatible with almost all CCTV cameras and IP cameras on the market. The 2.1mm plug also work with pre-made Siamese CCTV camera cables which enables an easy plug and play application. For installers that intend on using this power supply with a spool of RG59 Siamese cable, we recommend using PT-4 cable leads to adapt the power cables to the 2.1mm plug.

Orientation of plug a problem	October 30, 2012

The power adapter did solve our issue but the orientation of the plug caused another. The design would be handy when plugging into a wall outlet but when you have multiple cameras and use a surge protector strip it really becomes a problem plugging it in because it goes sideways and covers the other outlets. It is even too large for the strips that have the outlets spaced further apart for the larger adapters. The narrowness of the adapter is nice but the plug needs to be turned 90 degrees.
