The Vivotek-FD8167A is an indoor network dome camera featuring a
2 Megapixel CMOS image sensor and 2.8 ~ 12mm Varifocal lens. The Vivotek-FD8167A indoor network dome camera is capable of recording in full 1080P (1920 x 1080) resolution at up to 30 frames per second.
For low light environments the FD8167A has
built-in infrared LED's with an effective range of up to 20 meters / 60 feet. The Smart IR Technology allows the LEDs of the camera to dim and brighten as objects move in front of the camera's field of view. This prevents the image from whiting out due to overly intensive LEDs.
A
Removable IR Cut Filter blocks any unnecessary infrared lighting and only allows the visible light to pass through, enhancing the quality of the image. The 3D Digital Noise Reduction feature reduces the amount of graininess in the image and helps to free up bandwidth when streaming.
Further enhancing the low light image quality is the
WDR Enhancement feature, specifically designed for environments with bright or dark back lighting. It works by combining the brightest part of the image with the darkest part to create one highly detailed image comparable to that of the human eye.
A couple more features of the FD8167A include a
Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot for local recording and the ability to be solely powered by POE 802.3AF. Also included is a 32 channel central management software for camera management and recording.
