The Geovision GV-FER521 is a 360 security camera featuring a resolution of 2560 x 1920 (5 times the resolution of standard CCTV cameras) at 10 FPS (frames per second) providing a crisp, high quality image. The Geovision GV-FER521 360 security camera has a 5 megapixel 1.6 mm fixed iris lens and a 1/2.5" progressive scan CMOS image sensor. The IP66 rated enclosure allows the camera to be safely mounted in outdoor environments. The GV-FER521 is capable of displaying a full 360 degree image as well as 180°, quad view and single view to ensure complete coverage using a single camera (
Viewing Modes). The camera is powered using POE (IEEE802.3af) to make installation in more remote areas possible. A rating of 2 lux enables the GV-FER521 to keep a high quality image even in lower light situations. A built-in microphone and speaker allows the user to interact with the cameras environment, providing a full user experience. Remote Viewing Support
Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet. Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs. Geovision also includes support to view cameras from cell phones and other mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones. Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices. PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
