The HD-TVI-BL180 is a 180 degree view HD-TVI camera with built-in infrared night vision (24 IR LEDs / 32 Foot IR Distance). This is a 1080p CCTV security camera (TVI format) that can be used for indoor and outdoor video surveillance systems. The housing featured on the HD-TVI-BL180 is IP66 weatherproof rated and protects the vital components of the camera from the elements. The 2.5mm fisheye lens captures a 180-degree field of view (170-degree effective range), comparable to that of a fisheye camera

This camera is typically connected to a security DVR by hard wiring it using the same RG-59 or RG6 coaxial cable that is used for analog CCTV cameras.
The built-in OSD (On Screen Display) of the HD-TVI-BL180 lets installers adjust advanced features such as Extreme Dynamic Range (XDR), SENS-UP, shutter speed, and 3D digital noise reduction.
IMPORTANT NOTE: TVI cameras are compatible only with HD-TVI compatible surveillance DVRs .

The above image was captured using the HD-TVI-BL180. The camera is mounted in a medium sized room at CCTV Camera Pros office in West Palm Beach, Florida. This room is 29 feet wide by 16 feet deep. All of the lights are on in the room so that the camera is operating in daytime / color mode.
Here is another image captured by the HD-TVI-BL180. Mike is positioned directly below the camera to show-off the ultra wide angle that this fish-eye lens provides. It is slightly less than 180 degrees but not by much. You will notice there is a small section of the room cutoff on the right size. The effective angle of the lens is actually 170 degrees. As with most 180-degree security cameras, it is slightly less than true 180 degrees.
Infrared Surveillance
Here is an infrared surveillance image captured by the
AHD-BL25 (the 1080p AHD format version of this camera) . The HD-TVI-BL180 will perform the same as the AHD-BL25 when in infrared / night vision mode. Mike is positioned about 6 feet in front of the camera. All of the lights are off in the room. There is a small amount of ambient light from our fire exit signs at the exit of our front door.

In our testing, we connected our HD-TVI-BL180 to an hybrid BNC DVR . In addition to providing a recording platform, the our Viewtron DVRs lets users log in from remotely over the Internet to view the camera live. You can learn more about the Viewtron security camera viewer app for iPhone here.
Android Mobile App Viewing
These images were captured while using the DVR Viewer mobile app for Android . The camera is still connected to the iDVR-PRO16M at our office and we are accessing the DVR using WIFI on our demo network. This works the same as viewing the camera from remotely over the Internet.
